Summary
Prepares food and serves restaurant patrons at counters or tables by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following; other duties may be assigned:
Takes order from customer and cooks food requiring short preparation time; completes order from steam table and serves customer at table or counter; writes order slip; carves meat, makes sandwiches, brews tea and coffee; cleans food preparation equipment and work area; stocks shelves, refrigerators, and freezers in work area, preps and stocks food products for following shift; cleans counters, tables, and floors.
